Payments and Billing

Payment may be made by cash, check, or debit/credit card.  Visa, Mastercard, and Discovercard are accepted.  When non-insurance third parties arrange to pay (in part or in full) for services, special rates may apply, but such an arrangement must be made in advance with the agency first and then with Dr. Roberson.   Any problems regarding payments should be discussed with Dr. Roberson as soon as the problem arises.   A copay is required at the time of service when Dr. Roberson is on a patient's insurance panel (in network). Full payment is required at the time of service when he is not on the insurance panel (out of network).  

Insurance 
At this time Dr. Roberson is a network provider only for only a few insurance plans, and insurance-based discounts are accepted only when Dr. Roberson is on an insurance panel.  As stated above, patients and families of child patients are responsible for all fees at the time of service, unless Dr. Roberson is a member of the insurance plan used, and then a copay is required.  Even if Dr. Roberson is not a network provider for your insurance company, insurance forms can still be completed and submitted by Roberson Clinical Services to assist the patient in obtaining possible reimbursement from their insurance or managed care company.  In such cases, any reimbursement from the insurance company is sent directly to the patient or family.  Insurance reimbursement often takes 30 to 60 days, and sometimes longer.
